Ethical AI and Bias Mitigation

Efforts to address ethical concerns in NLP have intensified:

• Fairness-aware Models: New techniques are being developed to detect and mitigate biases in language models.

• Explainable AI: Advancements in making NLP models more interpretable and transparent in their decision-making processes.[70] More on this in the next section.
