A receipt of request is a document that proves that a request was made. This document is important because it can be used as evidence in a legal case. A receipt of request can cover anything from a request for information to a request for a refund.

Environmental Information Regulations RFI Receipt Confirmation
When an individual submits an RFI under the EIR, they typically request specific environmental information held by a particular public authority. This legal template serves as confirmation of the receipt of such an RFI by the relevant public authority. It acknowledges that the RFI has been received and provides important details such as the date and time of receipt, the reference number assigned to the request, and contact information for the authority's designated point of contact.
By utilizing this template, both the requester and the public authority have an official confirmation of the RFI's receipt, establishing a record of the inquiry and ensuring the authority's compliance with its obligations under the EIR.
