I'm happy to announce that we have just added an exciting new skill to our AI legal assistant.

Previously, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ could help with

  • Finding and using open-source templates
  • Ingesting a legal document of any size (most tools are limited due to AI context limits)
  • Answering legal questions on that document.

But now, it can also review entire documents clause-by-clause, comprehending and explaining all the risks involved.

Traditional contract analysis has always been a tedious process prone to human error. It used to take legal professionals days to review and mark up a 50-page document. However, with ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, this task can now be completed from scratch in just 3 minutes!

Once you , you're just one click away from triggering the document review feature.

The responses provided by ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ are customized to the entire document, the party involved, and the context surrounding your deal.

How does it work?

  1. you upload your employment contract
  2. hit the traffic lights icon
  3. we'll ask if you're the Company or the Employee. Hit Employee and
  4. we'll show you how fair or unfair each clause is to you, or how in favour of the company it is.
  5. Each risk is highlighted and explained with a comment
  6. You start a conversation with our AI Legal Assistant on that clause, and/or ask it to draft something better!

I'm excited to share that we have designed the user experience to be highly interactive, simulating the process of drafting and reviewing documents with a colleague or lawyer.
This is just the beginning of our journey towards multimodal AI, where we aim to offer interactions that go far beyond traditional chat-based interfaces.

AI Document Review for lawyers

Reviewing documents is often the most time consuming part of the legal negotiation process and can be responsible for as much as 30% – 55% of billables. The human cost is high too with untenable pressure on legal teams to complete the review within exacting timeframes without compromising on quality.

AI Document Review from Genie works on tackling this, hand-in-hand with a lawyer's workload.

We know there's appetite for it too:

According to a survey conducted by LexisNexis, 95% of 1000 legal professionals expect AI to impact how they practice law, and 59% see great potential in using AI to draft legal documents.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ is at the forefront of this revolution, with over 1300 law firms, in-house lawyers, and legal professionals (including paralegals) already utilizing our AI Legal Assistant.

AI Document Review for businesses

Our primary market is the business founder, or internal manager (think DPO, Compliance, Marketing, Sales) who is just absolutely slammed with work, and frequently gets wrapped up in Legal discussions.

Our AI Legal Assistant is already trusted by more than 30,000 businesses worldwide to reduce the time spent and increase the quality of output of these legal discussions.

You don't need to rely on internal or external legal counsel to make edits to high risk areas of a contract anymore.

You don't need to spend £1000s sending documents sent from a prospective client to external counsel for review. AI can do the initial review, you can make some changes, and you can even 'track' these changes so that if you do send it on to external counsel, they'll know exactly what you've changed and why!

Note: our track changes feature was silently released last week as a massive infrastructural win for the team - and hopefully a massive admin win for business managers and legal professionals alike.

"RAG Review provides a really thorough insight into the risks within a legal document. It's incredibly useful for me, and I found the comments it generated on high-risk clauses very helpful."

Liam O'Brien, Head of IT & Data Protection Officer for a UK charity

During our beta phase, we are still offering free access to our AI Legal Assistant.

What next, after AI Document Review

It's early days still, our mission is to build an AI Legal Assistant that surpasses the speed, accuracy, and reliability of even the most prestigious law firms.

Perhaps we'll allow you to draft your own legal documents from scratch, and submit them to the community library - so we can all benefit from the work of one another.
