B. Concerns and Limitations for In-house Legal Teams

The adoption of AI in the legal industry, particularly for in-house legal teams, presents both significant opportunities and notable challenges. While AI offers the potential for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness, it also raises important concerns that must be carefully addressed.

"In my opinion, in-house lawyers face significant challenges in adopting legal technology, largely because the tools designed for law firms do not address their unique operational needs. In-house teams might benefit from hiring legal operations professionals who can bring the necessary expertise in both legal and technology domains. This, I think, is a pivotal step toward overcoming the barriers to technology adoption in the in-house legal environment"
