Challenge: Accuracy and Reliability of AI-Generated Content

AI systems may produce inaccurate, outdated, or improperly cited information, potentially leading to legal errors.[126]

A 2023 report by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) noted that one AI provider claims to have a 90% accuracy in predicting case outcomes.[127]

The SRA also reported in 2023 that lawyers remain responsible and accountable for the outputs of AI systems they use, even if provided by third parties.[128]
